Local town or village justice courts hold many misdemeanors, violations, traffic cases, preliminary felony matters, and bench-warrant files. Identify the arrest municipality and named court before calling the Monticello county clerk. Liberty Town Justice Court, for example, publishes 845-292-6980 and states that court business is not conducted by email or Internet.
